Dean's Message
As a dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), I take great pride to share that the school has the state-of-the-art infrastructure and laboratories. Our faculty members are from the diversified domains; they are highly qualified having decades of teaching and industrial experience. We have set a tradition of soaring high with academic excellence and overall personality development of the students. The very purpose of education is to inculcate among the students an ability to think and develop logic to reason out facts and this is achieved by providing them an excellent academic environment. We are very keen to ensure that our students learn the concepts thoroughly; we don’t believe in mere one-way communication. Our faculty members take herculean efforts to adopt different teaching-learning pedagogies like Outcome Based Education (OBE), Activity Based Learning (ABL), Project Based Learning (PBL), Blended Learning, Flipped Classroom Techniques, etc.
Anjuman-I-Islam is full of ecstasy and exuberance owing to the fact that it is celebrating 150 years of its establishment. On this auspicious occasion, our institute has collaborated with the top ranked university of the World, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA. This would help our faculty members and students to explore the processes, aspects and best practices in an Engineering education.
Our consistent endeavour is to equip our students with both technical and management skills, so that they contribute to the industry and society as excellent professionals. Let us together reach the bottom of an ocean and explore the universe through the wings of knowledge and power of innovation. This empowerment will imbibe an attitude of positive and proactive thinking. We organize various training programs for our students for the development of life skills such as language communication skills and technical skills. Our efforts are directed to cope up to the expectations of every student by the way of enabling them to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, value added courses, in-plant training and industrial project works, etc.
I wish you a very joyous and academically highly rewarding student life at SoET and hope that you will uphold the pride and prestige of this esteemed institution. I extend my warm welcome to the student fraternity to visit our campus to experience its vibrancy, dynamism, versatility and humility.
