The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of AIKTC technical campus has undertaken a significant initiative to promote digital literacy among rural populations through the Basic Computer Education Program. This program is designed to empower individuals with essential computer skills, bridging the digital divide and enhancing socio-economic development in rural areas. It was organized on Monday, July 29th, 2024, in the village Zila parishad school Sangurli Tal Panvel. Ten dedicated volunteers from the NSS cell, whose contribution is invaluable, trained 30 students from the school. Objectives
The key objectives of the Basic Computer Education Program are:
1. Promote Digital Literacy: Provide primary computer education to rural residents, enabling them to use computers and the internet effectively.
2. Enhance Employability: Equip participants with digital skills that are increasingly required in the job market.
