Electronics and computer science department of AIKTC, panvel organized an expert lecture on IEEE initiatives and internet of things applications on 26th June 2023. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Manasi Subhedhar , head of Electronics and computer science department HOC, Pillai Rasayani. Dr. Ramzan Khatik Director, AIKTC addressed faculties regarding objectives of expert session. The resource person took over the first session of IEEE initiatives at 11:15 AM in this session she made faculties aware about students’ chapter formation, organizing IEEE conferences and different advantages of faculty IEEE membership to faculties. The second session on IOT applications started at 12:30Pm. The lecture gave a deep insight in the development of IOT based projects and evoked a great interest amongst faculties and was summed up with a live question-answer session. Nearly 35 faculties participated from ECS, CO and EE departments. Many heads and faculty members from various departments were also present. Participants showed keen interest in learning the concepts ,methodologies and gave satisfactory feedback at the end of session.
