Heartfelt and fervent welcome to the department of Civil Engineering at AIKTC, Panvel, Navi Mumbai. Civil Engineering plays a vital and key role in conformity with providing infrastructure works, from a tiny bungalow to a huge dam. Civil engineer is instrumental in creating smart cities, roads, rail networks, canal facilities, tunnels, flyovers, industrial buildings, etc. The youth having alacrity to pursue their career in civil are most welcome to our department. The department offers B. E., M. E. (Construction Engineering & Management) and Ph. D. programs. The undergraduate curriculum comprises of the balanced amalgamation of theoretical as well as practical perspectives of various civil engineering domains such as geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, structural engineering, surveying, building planning, water resources engineering, environmental engineering and engineering geology. We strive hard to impart value based education, inculcating the qualities of an ethical and honest civil engineer who can handle any type of project with confidence for an overall development of the society.
The Post Graduate curriculum provides the advanced knowledge to the learners. Our Ph. D. program instills research skills among the research scholars. Our faculty members exercise painstaking efforts to teach the learners with much needed enthusiasm. The laboratories are sophisticated and state-of-the-art with high precision instruments. The department is keen in proving latest software facilities to the learners to keep abreast with the industrial needs. Students are taken to the survey camp. Campus recruitment trainings are conducted for the better placements. Students are highly encouraged for the industrial internship during semester breaks. Many of our alumni have excelled in their career, be it job, higher studies or entrepreneurship.
