The Department of Humanities & Applied Sciences (HAS) caters FE & SE students in Engineering & Pharmacy Programs. It has young, dynamic and qualified 12 Teaching Faculty members, 3 Non teaching & 2 Supporting staffs. It deals with the courses such as Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Mathematics and Professional Communication Ethics. It also coordinates with other Engineering Departments for Engineering Mechanics, Basic Electrical Engineering, Engineering Graphics, C Programming [CP], Basic Workshop Practice [BWP].
In First year, Induction Programme is designed to sensitize newly joined students to explore their academic interests and activities such as time management, stress management, examination schemes and general instructions. Through this programme, lectures on Universal Human Values are conducted to get the student explore oneself and experience the joy of learning, reducing competition and making them work for excellence, promote bonding within them, build relations between teachers and students, give a broader view of life, and building of character.
Through mentoring mechanism, HAS keeps track on slow learners and provide them with additional coaching too. The department also helps in improving communication skills of students and also newly joined staff/faculty members.
Our team of HAS is ebullient with a plethora of activities in and around the campus like Admissions process, Examinations, Management-Parents and Students meet, Sports and Cultural activities.
