Dr. Khatik Ramjan Ahamad is a visionary leader and dedicated academician with over 25 years of extensive experience in technical education, research, and institutional development. He currently serves as the Director of Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus (AIKTC), Navi Mumbai, overseeing three prestigious schools: the School of Engineering & Technology, School of Pharmacy, and School of Architecture.
Dr. Ramjan Khatik holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from prestigious university VTU Belagavi, Karnataka, along with an M.E. in Electronics from the University of Mumbai and a B.E. in Electronics from North Maharashtra University. His academic interests lie in the areas of speech processing, signal analysis, communication systems, and emerging technologies in AI and robotics. He has guided numerous student projects and presented/published over eight research papers in SCOPUS-indexed journals and international conferences.
A founding faculty member of AIARK Polytechnic (2003) and AIKTC (2011), Dr. Ramjan has held several key positions including Principal, Head of Department, Controller of Examination, and Hostel Rector. Under his dynamic leadership, the institute has achieved milestones such as NBA & NAAC accreditation, ISO 9001:2015 certification.
He has played a pioneering role in setting up advanced laboratories such as the E-Yantra Robotics Lab in collaboration with IIT Bombay, and has been instrumental in transforming the campus into a Green, Smart, and AMC-Free model through sustainable practices and cost-effective maintenance systems. His efforts have been recognized by AICTE and Panvel Municipal Corporation, earning him accolades like the Clean & Smart Campus Award and the COVID Yodha Sanmanpatra.
Beyond academics, Dr. Ramjan Khatik has led impactful initiatives under PMKVY, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and other skill development programs.
Dr. Ramjan khatik’s leadership philosophy is rooted in excellence, innovation, inclusivity, and community engagement, making him a key driving force in shaping the future of technical education at AIKTC.

My dear student,
We have completed a decade of Innovative Teaching, Leading, Learning and Growing. If you have a passionate desire, believe in yourself, ready to visualise and push yourself with 1% extra effort (action) compared to others, then you are at the right place (AIKTC) to make it happen. We are committed to provide education par excellence to our students to become graduates with strong globally acceptable attributes in the exponentially evolving world. It is our innate pride for having attained the status of being “Role model campus” of Anjuman-I-Islam, Mumbai. We honestly impart technical education par excellence leveraging knowledge & skills, nurturing values & characters for holistic human development and global well-being.
The New Education Policy (NEP 2020) highlighted the need and benefits of multidisciplinary institutions, AIKTC offers multidisciplinary technical education viz. Architecture, Engineering and Pharmacy since its inception in 2011. Our integrated campus provides increased access, even-handedness, and inclusion of the various challenges and opportunities of the future to the students. We have the world class infrastructure wherein our students learn experientially through various technical devices, instruments, equipment, machines and tools at campus or even virtually. Our faculties are focussed on students’ learning than their teaching by adopting different teaching pedagogies like Outcome-based education (OBE), Activity based learning (ABL), Project based learning (PBL), Blended learning, Flipped classroom techniques etc. to develop strong critical thinking, collaboration, complex problem-solving skills and many more. Before graduating, they can have their own start-up companies mentored through AIKTC Incubation centre and become atma-nirbhar.
