Celebration of World Environment Day

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. On the 5th June 2024, COST Committee at A.I.’s Kalsekar Technical Campus, New Panvel organised Environment Day celebrations. The aim behind organising the Environment Day was to create awareness among people about the importance of keeping the environment clean as well as saving it. Ms. Sanah Ansar Ali Shaikh - First year Diploma Student of Computer Engineering gave a speech on importance of World Environment Day. Director, Deans, Faculty, Staff & Students did Tree Plantations at A.I.’s Abdul Razzak Kalsekar Polytechnic, New Panvel. They also showcased the slogan ‘Say no to Plastic’ by collecting plastic cold drink bottles, bags etc at ARKP campus. Students, who visited the campus for admission enquiries were gifted plant saplings by the COST Team.
