Description: A Three days Orientation Programme was organised for Students of First Year of Diploma in Architecture from 4th to 6th August. Prof. Sarah Giniwale and Prof. Namira Shaikh were the faculties incharge for organising the Programme. Day 1 i.e. 4th August 2025 - Creative Kickoff, started with an Ice-breaking Session where students introduced themselves as well as played interactive games. Post Lunch, a creative hands on session “Doodle with Music” was organised where students made collaborative doodles with music as inspiration . This Session encouraged students to let go of the fear of creating and foster collaboration in their work. Day 2 i.e. 5th August themed ‘See Sense, Sketch was dedicated to Sketching Activities. Lots of sketching drill exercises were done to sketch lines, shapes and form. Contour Drawings and Observational Drawing Exercises in Campus Premises were successfully completed to improve the sketching skills of students. Day 3 on 6th August was themed ‘Paper, Play and Possibilities’ where Origami and Paper Skyscaper Challenge were done. The Paper Tower challenge encouraged Teamwork and Creativity. The Orientation Programme ended with feedback from students through sticky notes displayed on Panels.
