On the occasion of Independence Day, faculty members and students from Kalsekar Technical Campus participated in the flag hoisting ceremonies held across various villages adopted under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative. The villages included Shedung, Bherle, Shivkar, Ajawali, and Deravali.
A day prior to the event, coordination was done with the respective Sarpanchs of each village to ensure smooth execution of the ceremony. On the day of the event, the team from Kalsekar Technical Campus split into smaller groups, with each group assigned to a specific village. The team members actively participated in the local Independence Day celebrations and engaged in meaningful conversations with the village leaders and community members.
This initiative not only helped foster a stronger connection between the institution and the rural communities but also offered the students a valuable opportunity to experience and contribute to grassroots-level national events. The presence of faculty and students was well received by the villagers, especially the local leadership, including the Sarpanch and Panchayat members.
Moreover, the Sarpanchs of Bherle and Shedung extended invitations to the Kalsekar Technical Campus team to attend the upcoming Gram Sabha scheduled for Monday, 18th August 2025. The institution looks forward to continuing its engagement with these communities under the UBA mission, promoting rural development and active citizenship.
