Heritage Walk – Zaveri Bazaar

A Heritage Walk was organised for students of First Year of Diploma in Architecture at Zaveri Bazaar, Mumbai on 11th Se[tember 2025. Prof. Saddam Sayyed, Prof. Sarah Giniwale, Prof. Insha Shaikh and Prof. Namira Shaikh were the faculties in-charge of this Walk.
Students and Faculties met at Sandhurst Road Station at 9 am and started the Walk. The first stop was the Mughal Masjid near Dongri premises where students observed and studied Iranian Architecture type buildings. The second stop was Jama Masjid in Zaveri Bazaar which is 200 years old heritage structure. After a short lunch break the walk continued towards the Vintage Market of ‘Chor Bazaar’ in Mumbai. The Session was concluded at CSTM Station.
