The Central Library in collaboration with the Women Development and Grievances Cell (WDGC), celebrated International Women's Day from March 1st to 15th, 2024. The event featured a variety of activities aimed at honouring and empowering women within the AIKTC community. Activity 1: Thematic Display / Wakelet Thematic Diplay: Showcased books and resources highlighting women's achievements and contributions. Wakelet: Curated online collections celebrating influential women and gender equality. Objectives: To inculcate reading habits by encouraging students to read more about Dr. Kalam Date: 1 — 15 March 2024 Location/Mode: Offline / Online, Central Library Visitors: 22 Students & 2 Faculties Activity 2: e- quiz Thematic Diplay: Engaged participants to gather knowledge about Women's history and rights Date: 1 — 15 March 2024 Location/Mode: Online Participants: 12 Students & 2 Faculties E certificate was given to the winner and to the participants. Activity 3: Eapert Talk Expert Talk by Doctors: On the occasion of International Women's Day, AIKTC organized an expert talk on "Bullying Stress Believing Harmony," delivered by Dr. Yash Velankar and Dr. Tanuja Purav, both esteemed practitioners with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. Held on March 11th, the session specifically targeted female students, faculty, and staff, addressing crucial issues related to bullying, stress management, and achieving harmony in both personal and professional spheres.
