Report on Cleanliness Drive held at AIKTC Panvel on 31st August 2024 Attendees: Prof Ziyaul Haque, Dr Shivaji Pawar, Mr Yusuf Mulla, Dr Maryam Qureshi Activity: On 31st August 2024, Anjuman-I-Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus School of Pharmacy, under the NSS program, organized a Cleanliness Drive to promote a disease-free city. The theme of the activity was "सफाई अपनाओ, बीमारी भगाओ अभभयान" ("Adopt Cleanliness, Drive Away Disease Campaign"), held from 1st July to 31st August, with slogans like "Clean Cities, Healthy Citizens" and "अवलंब करून स ् वच्छतेचा, नयनाट करू रोगांचा" ("Embrace Cleanliness, Eliminate Diseases"). The drive was conducted in collaboration with the Panvel Municipal Corporation and was graced by the presence of Mr. Mangesh Chitale, Administrator and Commissioner of PMC. A total of 32 third-year B.Pharm students participated in the event. This activity effectively instilled the principles of the Clean India Movement by accepting the challenge in a practical manner. The students were very enthusiastic about the initiative and are keen to continue participating in such activities in the future.
