NSS Orientation Programme for newly registered NSS volunteers

The NSS Unit of the School of Pharmacy, Anjuman-I-Islam's Kalsekar Technical Campus (AIKTC), organized an NSS Orientation Programme for newly registered NSS volunteers.
The session was delivered by Dr. Datta Hingmire, NSS Area Coordinator, Raigad District, and faculty member at Konkan Gyanpeeth Uran College of Commerce and Arts.
The programme commenced with the welcome of the guest and an introduction to the National Service Scheme. Dr. Hingmire explained the objectives, motto, and significance of NSS in developing responsible, disciplined, and socially committed citizens. He highlighted the importance of community service, leadership, teamwork, environmental awareness, and personality development through NSS activities.
The volunteers were encouraged to actively participate in various outreach programmes such as health camps, blood donation drives, tree plantation, cleanliness campaigns, and village adoption initiatives. The session concluded with an interactive discussion where students clarified their queries regarding NSS activities and future opportunities.
