The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a strong sense of national pride on 15th August 2026 at the AIARKP Ground. The programme commenced at 8:30 AM in the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mrs. Jyoti Deshmukh (Sr. Police Inspector, Kamothe Police Station, Navi Mumbai) and Guests of Honour Dr. Sahasrabudhe (founder of Sahasrabudhe Hospital and ICCU) and eminent person of Panvel Mr. Akil Umar Adhikari, along with Dr. Ramjan Khatik (Director, AIKTC), Prof. Arif Shaikh (Principal, AIARKP), Dr. Rajendra Magar (Dean, SoET), Prof. Abusufyan Shaikh (HoD, Diploma Pharmacy), Heads of Departments of AIKTC & AIARKP, faculty members, staff, and students. The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by the NSS Team of AIKTC, which coordinated the programme efficiently. The proceedings began with a welcome address by Mr. Yusuf Mulla, followed by a soulful Qirat recitation, creating a solemn and respectful atmosphere.
The National Flag was unfurled by Chief Guest Mrs. Jyoti Deshmukh, followed by the National Anthem, National Song (Vande Mataram), Tarane-e-Anjuman, and the National Pledge. A disciplined and impressive march-past by NSS volunteers reflected their dedication, discipline, and commitment to national service.
Dr. Rajendra Magar introduced the Chief Guest, following which Mrs. Jyoti Deshmukh addressed the gathering and conveyed her warm wishes on the occasion of Independence Day, highlighting the values of responsibility, discipline, and service to the nation.The celebration reflected the spirit of unity, patriotism, and collaboration between AIKTC and AIARKP. The dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, NSS volunteers, faculty members, staff, and students ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
