The camp was organized with the objective of promoting awareness regarding thyroid disorders and encouraging individuals to undergo timely health screening. As part of the camp, participants were provided with information regarding thyroid health, common thyroid-related disorders, associated symptoms, and the importance of appropriate diagnostic investigations. Thyroid screening/testing was conducted by the healthcare professionals from Suburban Diagnostics, following the required procedures. Participants were also guided regarding the significance of consulting a qualified healthcare professional for interpretation of test results and further management, wherever required. The initiative enabled participants to access thyroid screening while increasing awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare. It also provided pharmacy students with meaningful exposure to community-based healthcare practices and reinforced the broader role of pharmacists in promoting public health.
