An expert talk series was conducted on 2nd September by our three star alumni. The first session was conducted by Mr Zaid ,Medical Bussiness Associate,GSK Pharmaceuticals Limited.He summarized different aspects of role of Pharmacist in medical marketing.Pharmaceutical marketing segment is a significant link between the innovator and the healthcare practitioners.

Second session was delivered by Ms Afsheen Lakdawala, Associate Clinical Data Team Lead,PPD Pharma. She explained how a Clinical Data Lead plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the data aspects of clinical trials. They ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of data collected during clinical research, working at the intersection of data management, clinical operations, and regulatory requirements.

Mr Baktawar,Director,Socomed Pharma Pvt Limited had conducted an interesting session on “Entrepreneur-Mindsets and skills”. An entrepreneur is an individual who initiates, develops, and manages a business venture with the aim of making a profit, often taking on financial risks in the process. Entrepreneurs play a vital role in the economy by driving innovation, creating jobs, and contributing to economic growth.

As a part of first year induction programme alumni expert lecture series were conducted by our distinguished Alumni.

Ms Pranali Darne , a distinguished Alumni expert in the field of Regulatory Affairs delivered an insightful lecture on the intricacies and importance of regulatory processes in various industries. The lecture was attended by First year students, aimed to shed light on the evolving landscape of regulatory affairs and its critical role in ensuring compliance, safety, and efficacy of products. Ms Pradnya Mahadik,Quality assurance officer, Raptim Research , a prominent expert in pharmacokinetics and regulatory science delivered an enlightening lecture on the crucial topics of bioavailability and bioequivalence.

The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to ask questions about specific challenges in bioavailability and bioequivalence studies, regulatory expectations and future trends in the field.
