Awareness of Skill India Competition

Under the guidance of the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, District Raigad, Prof. Abdulmajid Ansari has been appointed to lead awareness initiatives for the IndiaSkills Competition. In this role, Prof. Ansari will actively promote participation among students, institutions, and aspiring youth by conducting awareness sessions, workshops, and outreach programs across the district. The initiative aims to identify and nurture talented individuals, encouraging them to showcase their skills at district, state, and national levels. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship organizes the IndiaSkills Competition as a prestigious platform to recognize excellence in vocational skills and to prepare candidates for global competitions like WorldSkills Competition. This appointment is expected to strengthen the district’s participation and contribute significantly toward building a skilled and competitive workforce.
