Diabetes Camp

As part of the Pharmacist Day celebration 2026, a Diabetes Awareness Camp was organized on 23rd Sept, 2026 as a student-led community outreach activity. Students actively participated in blood glucose screening, recording and documenting readings, and providing basic health guidance to the participants. They created awareness regarding healthy dietary practices, regular physical activity, lifestyle modification, and the importance of regular blood glucose monitoring. Participants with abnormal readings were advised to seek appropriate medical consultation. The activity provided students with valuable hands-on experience in health screening, patient interaction, counselling, communication, and community pharmacy practice, while contributing to diabetes awareness and prevention in the community
