Expert talk on Drug of Choice for ANS drugs

On April 4th, 2025, an expert talk on "Drugs of Choice for ANS and CNS Disorders" was conducted for second-year Pharmacology-I students by Dr. Deepanjana Das, Ph.D. in Medical Pharmacology and Assistant Professor at MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai. With 93 students in attendance, the session provided in-depth insights into drug classification, pharmacological mechanisms, and evidence-based drug selection. A clinical case study was discussed to illustrate the practical application of pharmacological principles in treatment decision-making. Interactive discussions helped bridge textbook knowledge with real-world clinical practice. Students found the session highly beneficial and expressed appreciation for the practical approach. Their positive feedback reflected a strong interest in future expert lectures on similar advanced topics.
