Description: On January 1, 2025, the third day of the seven-day residential camp at Tara Village unfolded, featuring the participation of 50 third-year students. The camp was coordinated by Prof. Ziya, Prof. Tabrez, Mr. Yusuf Mulla, and Prof. Poonam Nikam. Activity 1- The day’s activities included a medical camp for villagers, a lecture on domestic violence for school students, and a session on health tips and a healthy lifestyle for the NSS volunteers. The medical camp, attended by over 62 beneficiaries, was led by Dr. Ismail Shaikh and psychologist Miss Meeraj, provided health check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar (Diabetes), and SPO2 (respiratory health) assessments. Free medicines were distributed, making the camp a significant success. Activity 2- Psychologist and counsellor Miss Meeraj delivered an impactful lecture to 140 school students, emphasizing the importance of addressing domestic violence and encouraging individuals to speak out against it to prevent mental depression and physical abuse. Activity 3- Additionally, a session on health tips and maintaining a healthy lifestyle was conducted for the NSS volunteers by Prof Ziyaul Haque, Prof Tabrez and Mr Yusuf Mulla. This session highlighted the significance of adopting healthy habits to enhance the overall well-being and better equip them to serve the community effectively.
