The World Tree Plantation Drive organized by AIKTC School of Pharmacy on 26th May. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of tree planting and contribute to global efforts in combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. The primary objective of the World Tree Plantation Drive was to encourage community participation and engage individuals in tree planting activities. By doing so, we aimed to: • Enhance environmental awareness: We sought to educate participants and the wider community about the critical role that trees play in mitigating climate change, improving air quality, conserving biodiversity, and promoting ecological balance. • Foster a sense of environmental responsibility: The drive aimed to instil a sense of environmental stewardship and inspire individuals to take proactive steps in protecting and preserving the environment. Plantation Activities: On the designated day, volunteers gathered at the identified sites and engaged in tree planting. Proper guidelines were provided to ensure the correct planting techniques, including digging appropriate holes, providing adequate water, and mulching to support the trees' growth and establishment
