The Technical Poster Presentation at AAKAAR 2025’s International Civil Engineering Symposium was a prestigious event that brought together some of the brightest minds in civil engineering. With a total cash prize of Rs. 15,000, the competition challenged participants to present innovative and impactful research in the field. Teams were required to design A0-sized posters, which were evaluated based on originality, technical significance, and visual impact—without the opportunity for live explanations.
Among 19 competing teams, the AIKTC team, comprising Abubakar Potrick, Asma Shaikh, and Piyush Kajrolkar, secured first place with their insightful and meticulously crafted poster titled “Comparison of Global Rating Systems for India’s Smart City Mission.” Their exceptional research, combined with a visually compelling presentation, earned them well-deserved recognition and accolades from IIT Bombay.
The winners proudly posed with their trophy at the AAKAAR 17 venue, IIT Bombay, Powai, celebrating their remarkable achievement. Their success was guided by the expert mentorship of Dr. Rohan Dasgupta, whose support and guidance played a crucial role in their victory.
This accomplishment further solidifies AIKTC’s reputation in technical competitions, showcasing the institution’s commitment to cutting-edge research, innovation, and excellence in civil engineering.
