Description: The School of Architecture at AIKTC recently hosted an insightful filmmaking workshop led by film editor Aasif Pathan. The workshop aimed to familiarise architecture students with the essentials of visual storytelling, focusing on editing techniques and narrative structure to enrich their presentation skills and creative projects.
Mr.Pathan's passion for the craft resonated deeply with attendees, as he shared practical knowledge on crafting compelling narratives and creating seamless visual experiences. His interactive approach enabled students to grasp complex filmmaking concepts in a straightforward manner, helping them understand how these techniques can enhance communication within architecture.
The event was scheduled for 3.00 pm, in the AIKTC Seminar Hall, with the entire student body in attendance. Over-all, 93 students were in attendance out of 120. The lecture was followed by an interactive session with the speakers and students were able to freely ask questions.
The event concluded with Prof. Parvathi, presenting the memento to the speaker. The insights gained from this workshop are expected to have a lasting impact on their professional growth, and we look forward to future collaborations.
